to Get to Campbell River, Canada:
Follow the Oceanside Route (Hwy 19A) or the Inland Hwy (Hwy 19) for 270 km (167 mi) north from Victoria, BC to Campbell River, BC. Campbell River is only 50 km (31 mi) from the oceanside communities of Courtenay and Comox. In-between the two destinations you will visit the village of Black Creek, Saratoga Beach and Miracle Beach where the ocean views reappear with sand laden shorelines. It is a relaxing 235 km (146 mi) drive south through carved out mountain ridges and along crystal blue lakes from Port Hardy BC to Campbell River. Also found in Campbell River is the 3 km (2 mi) BC Ferry ride to Quadra Island, with a crossing time of 10 minutes.
