How to Get to Parksville, British Columbia, Vancouver Island:
A total of 147 km (91 mi) north of Victoria. Look for Parksville at the beginning of the beautiful Hwy 19A (Oceanside Route). Parksville is only 11 km (7 mi) south of beautiful Qualicum Beach and a short 37 km (23 mi) north from the oceanside harbour city of Nanaimo BC. Along the way you will pass by open beaches filled with sun bleached sand and rolling tides, rustic little out-of-the way road side shops, people pulled over on the side of the road taking in the scenery, and the beautiful evergreen forests.
