throughout the village core. The Community Park makes
Parksville a popular choice for families with young children because
there is a concession stand, children's playground, volleyball courts,
water park, picnic tables, washrooms, grass and shaded areas and
lots of sandy beach to explore.
Before entering the community
of Parksville from the south there is another beautiful
sandy beach called Rathtrevor
Beach. Worth a visit for sure, especially at low tide. Parksville
beaches recede back about a mile at low tide freeing up tons of
sandy beach to frolic in or take the time to discover a secluded
piece of sand to sit back and relax while taking in the marine beauty.
Parksville, BC village is a popular resort destination
consuming 5 miles of waterfront and, every year, holds a world class
sandcastle competition at the Community Park.


Parksville BC
is also home to various outdoor activities like the abundant hiking
trails in the many nearby parks such as in Englishman
River Falls and Little
Qualicum Falls . Many come to Parksville,
BC to do some salt water and fresh water fishing,
caving at Horne
Lake Provincial Park, explore the trails covered with flowers
and exotic trees of Milner Gardens or book a tee time at any of
the top rated golf courses.
Coombs Village, just west
of Parksville BC is a must stop for any visitor
to the area because the village is an educational trip into the
past and leaves you with a totally different impression of the area.

eclectic opportunities shopping the one-of-a-kind stores like the
store with the goats living on the roof...
while your children enjoy the theme park
