How to Get to Port Alberni: Port Alberni BC is 193 km (120 mi) north of Victoria BC. From Victoria head north over the Malahat towards Parksville, BC on the main Highway. When you approach Parksville BC you proceed to take the Hwy 4 turn off and begin to head west. Port Alberni is a short 50 km (31 mi) drive from Parksville on Hwy 4. Make sure to plan accordingly so to have time to visit Englishman River Falls, the beautiful park of Cathedral Grove and the eclectic shopping activities at Coombs Market.
